You heard that right – we’re here for BEER! The Corner Brook Running Club is partnering with Veitch

Physiotherapy and Wellness and Bootleg Brew Co. to combine running and beer. This is a 19 plus event.


I’ll be THERE for beer (LIVE run)

Race registration will be capped at 40 participants (20 for 5 km and 20 for the 10 km). Don’t delay – register today! Your $45 race registration includes your one day CBRC membership fee, a limited-edition Bootleg Brew Co pint glass and a beer of your choice.


I’ll RUN for Beer (VIRTUAL run):

Local pick up only: $25 registration fee includes race membership, printable bib, online race results, and a bottle of Bootleg Brew Co Beer of your choice.


There will be no refunds for this event.


Route Info:

Participants will start at the Goodhouse Building parking lot across the road from Bootleg Brew Co make their way down West Street St., turn right on to Main Street and then continue to merge onto Riverside Drive. Runners will circle the Port Authority Building (counter clockwise) One lap = 5 km; and Two laps = 10 km. An aid station will be located near the Port Authority turn around point.


Race Start:

5 km 6:00 pm (check in 5:30-5:50 pm)

10 km 7:00 pm (check in 6:30-6:50 pm)

Each runner will start on their own 30s apart. Timing will be chip time (not gun time).

COVID 19 Safety Pre-cautions:

  1. All runners will be required to sign a Covid-19 assessment form.
  2. Timing chips will be sanitized before being issued and when returned.
  3. All runners will be assigned a start time in 30 second intervals. Please stand next to your pylon for the start of the race. As each runner departs you may move up in position.
  4. Bootleg Brew Co has a maximum capacity of 20 people. The 5 km runners will have the space until 7:45 pm (the expected finish time of the first few 10 km runners).
  5. Check in times are strict! Pick up your bib and timer chip to ensure the race starts on time.
  6. Please maintain physical distancing while waiting to start and while on the course. If passing is necessary, give the runner ahead notice by calling out and passing them at a safe distance.
